Elementary school "Đura Jakšić" is located in the town of Kać, municipality of Novi Sad. It is named after our famous poet and painter, Đura Jakšić.

The school was founded in 1763. Today, the school is attended by about 1,000 students distributed in 40 classes. Classes take place in 3 facilities. The school has 22 classrooms and a sports hall.
