Beer Museum History and origin of the Beer Museum in Zrenjanin The Zrenjanin Brewery was founded in 1745 by the German Sebastian Krejcajzen. This brewery experienced its greatest prosperity when Lazar Dunđerski, the largest landowner at the time, took it over in 1891. From then until 1911, a thorough reconstruction was carried out. The idea of ​​founding the Beer Museum appeared in 2011. as a civic initiative. Later, the project continues within the framework of the Tourist Organization of the City of Zrenjanin. Implementation will only start in 2016, thanks to the help received from the city. It was then concluded that the conversion of the old Variona beer plant into a Beer Museum would be very important for the development of tourism.
