History and creation of the Church of St. Panteleimon The construction of the Divčibar church began in 1995, on the day of St. Panteleimon. However, the idea of ​​building this Orthodox church first arose 65 years ago (archpriest Milan Tripković is mentioned as the initiator of that idea). Ten years later, the church began to be built, but the work was stopped after the entry of the then state of Yugoslavia into the Second World War. The Church of St. Panteleimon was built on the left bank of the Žujana stream, between 2 fountains. Since 1926, the folk fair on the day of Saint Panteleimon has been held on that area.
