Description

Archeological site Vinča It is located on the territory of the municipality of Grocka east of the center of Belgrade, next to the road Belgrade - Smederevo. It is on the very bank of the Danube River, 19 kilometers downstream from the confluence of the Sava and the Danube. It is also significant as one of the more interesting picnic spots in Belgrade. But also as an important place when it comes to tourism in Serbia, excursions in general. The archeological site of Vinča and its location contribute to its importance even more attractive when they have a world-famous archaeological site nearby. The Belo Brdo archaeological site represents the remains of a Neolithic settlement with houses and dugouts, of prehistoric man.
