Where to buy Russian products in Belgrade: offline stores and online delivery

Обзор лучших магазинов и сервисов для покупки русских продуктов в Белграде: адреса, ассортимент, цены и доставка. Для экспатов и иммигрантов.

TL;DR
There are several offline stores and online services in Belgrade where you can buy Russian products: cottage cheese, sour cream, buckwheat, herring, and other items. The main places are "Русский Магазин" on Зеленый Венец, "Березка" on Дорчоле, and "Славянский Базар" on Звездаре. Russian Store Serbia and Berezka Online offer online delivery. Prices are higher than in Russia, but the assortment is stable.

What is this and why

After moving to Serbia, many expats face the fact that familiar products are simply not found in local chains (Maxi, Lidl, Konzum). Especially difficult with dairy products, cereals, canned goods, and sweets. In Belgrade, there are specialized stores that sell goods from Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, and other CIS countries. They are focused on the Russian-speaking diaspora, and some of them offer delivery around the city.

How to buy

  1. Make a list - cottage cheese 9%, sour cream 20%, buckwheat, herring in oil, dumplings, "Приднестровский" tea, "Алёнка" candies, etc. Most stores publish current catalogs on social media or websites.
  2. Choose a method -
  1. Compare prices - the difference between points can reach 10-20%. For example, buckwheat in "Русский Магазин" - 250 RSD/kg, and in "Березка" - 220 RSD/kg.
  2. Pay - cash (dinars and euros), card (not in all points) or online (bank transfer, PayPal, Revolut).
  3. Receive - in the store immediately after payment or by courier/self-pickup if ordered online.
