Based on Articles 7 to 9 of the Special Collective Agreement for Healthcare Institutions established by the Republic of Serbia, Autonomous Province, and local self-government units (Official Gazette of the Republic of Serbia No. 96/19), the Acting Director of the Public Health Institute of Obrenovac announces:

For employment on a fixed-term basis with full working hours for the position of Doctor of Medicine – Selected Physician – 3 positions

**REQUIREMENTS:**

• Completed integrated academic studies in accordance with regulations governing higher education, starting from September 10, 2005.

• Completed undergraduate studies lasting at least five years in accordance with regulations governing higher education prior to September 10, 2005.

The candidate is required to submit the following documents with their application:

• Application with a brief biography
• Certified copy of the diploma confirming completion of studies
• Certified copy of the professional exam passed for the Doctor of Medicine
• Birth certificate extract
• Proof of citizenship
• Decision on registration with the Medical Chamber or license
• Certificate confirming no ongoing investigation and no criminal convictions

**JOB DESCRIPTION:**

• Prevents, diagnoses, and treats diseases, injuries, and other physical and mental disorders using specialized methods and techniques, applying the principles and procedures of modern medicine, while maintaining prescribed medical documentation;

• Organizes and implements measures to preserve and improve the health of individuals and families, works on identifying and combating risk factors for disease onset, monitors the health status of the population in their area, and provides data for health statistics, identifies health risks, proposes and implements measures for their elimination, conducts health education activities, and collaborates with key individuals and organizations in the community;

• Organizes and conducts prescribed systematic, targeted, and screening examinations;

• Participates in special programs (vaccination, measures during epidemics and mass disasters, early disease detection measures);

• Conducts examinations, refers for further diagnostics and specialist examinations, determines the method and type of treatment, monitors treatment progress, coordinates opinions and suggestions for continued treatment, determines the type and duration of home treatment and monitors its implementation, determines the duration of temporary work incapacity due to illness or injury;

• Prescribes medications and medical supplies, as well as medical-technical aids;

• Provides health status assessments and refers for work ability assessments, conducts home visits as part of fieldwork;

• Provides care for patients at the site of injury or sudden illness requiring urgent medical assistance, and, if necessary, accompanies the patient during emergency medical transport to an appropriate healthcare facility;

• Participates in improving the quality of healthcare;

• Consults with other healthcare workers and healthcare associates;

• Plans, supervises, and evaluates implementation.
