Serbian market – survive as self-employment or grow as a business?

Description

Serbian market – survive as self-employment or grow as a business?

Our entrepreneurs have really launched a lot of projects here and it’s inspiring!‌‌‌‍‌‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍ It is really possible to realize yourself in another country.

But if we take off the rose-colored glasses, we will see many businesses that could not survive. Or they survived, but are put up for sale. And there are also those whose owners themselves do not know whether they should continue to support the life of their beloved, but very difficult business.

We decided to cover the topic of doing business in Serbia through live examples of community members HubCollab.

“Plans – Balkans!” are moving online.
Now this will be a regular format for meetings of entrepreneurs to exchange experiences and form a stable system of coordinates.

At each meeting we will take one end-to-end case: look at how a specific business works, what has already worked, where difficulties arose and what challenges the team is currently facing. In the second part you will be able to ask your questions and discuss your own situations.

We will figure it out together with the two presenters.

🎙 Alexander Tregubenkov
• Lawyer and entrepreneur
• Citizen of Serbia
• 15+ years in the country
• 10+ years of business consulting
• Experience from HoReCa to large production
At the meeting he is responsible for adapting the business model specifically to the specifics of Serbia. It highlights the pitfalls, mentality and preferences of local residents, the legal framework, burnt-out niches and not the most obvious, but promising ones.

🎙 Nikolay Morozov
• Founder of the partnership ecosystem HubCollab
• Business community 1500+ people in Serbia
• GTM and business growth through partnerships
Let's talk with Nikolay about expansion with limited resources. What partnerships can provide, who you should team up with, and what risks it’s best to think about in advance.

🎙The first end-to-end case is coworking and event space Common.
The founder of the project, Mila, will tell you how she started and found her first clients, what difficulties she encountered and what she sees next.

📅 October 22, 18:00–19:30

💻 Online meeting in Zoom
🎟 Cost: free online (strict selection of participants)

By the way, Nikolay will go live directly from Common to talk with Mila on the set and take a mini-tour through the premises.
After confirming your registration, you can also join offline (in this case, we will be grateful for your donation to the site).
