Vidikovac Smilovica

Smilovica Viewpoint You will be able to spot the beginning of the path to the Smilovica Viewpoint right after the village of Koprivštica, on the way to Zavojsko Lake. There is a clearly marked sign at this place, which will show you that there is another 5 km distance to the popular viewpoint. If you wish, you can leave your car there and walk from there to Smilovica. You will enjoy a relaxing walk and fresh mountain air. However, there is another option: by car you can reach the village of Pokrevenik and even the viewpoint, but this is not recommended, unless you have an all-terrain vehicle. When you pass the village of Pokrevenik, continue your walk along the well-marked path. Walk slowly and stop from time to time, because the enchanting pictures of Stara Planina will follow you everywhere. When you arrive at the Smilovica viewpoint, take a good rest and enjoy the view of Lake Zavoj, which was created in 1963.
