Piljski waterfall The area of Stara planina is very rich in waterfalls, which are often tucked away in the forest, still unexplored by geologists, so mostly only the locals know about them. It was the same with the Pilj Waterfall, currently the fourth largest waterfall in Serbia, with a height of 64 meters. This waterfall was discovered by geologists in 2002. Characteristics of Pilj Waterfall Pilj Waterfall is located at an altitude of about 1,400 meters above sea level, below the mountain peak Pilj on Stara planina. It is located on the Lisevski dol stream, and consists of two larger cascades. Although there are no fully organized tourist trails, this waterfall is a great attraction for tourists. Near the village of Topli Do, there are, in addition to this, the Čungulj and Kulturski waterfalls. How to get to Piljsko waterfall The terrain on which the waterfall is located is moderately accessible.
