Bački zoo

Bački Zoo - a place where children learn to love nature On the family estate in Kovilje, the former farm of their great-grandfather, veterinary technician Đorđe and his girlfriend Tatjana created a unique educational mini zoo - open to children and families who want to learn more about animals and develop a sincere relationship with nature. More than 16 species of domestic animals and birds live in Bačka Zoo - from donkeys, mongooses and horses, to rabbits, ducks, turkeys, pheasants, parrots and even diamondback seagulls. Many of them are rescued animals, they found a new shelter, care and love in this small, warm property. During the visit, children not only visit the zoo, but also take part in fun and adapted workshops - they recognize the eggs of different birds, explore the "land of snails", learn about bugs and larvae, and listen to stories that the hosts adapt to the age of each child.
