Tips for expats

  1. Luggage - taxi is more convenient if you have several suitcases. Bus A1 has a small luggage compartment, and the train has no space for large baggage.
  2. Traffic - during rush hours (7-9 and 16-19) the road to the centre can take 50-60 minutes. Taxi via BNO (fast highway) usually bypasses the jams.
  3. Payment - taxis and buses accept cash (RSD or EUR) and cards; trains accept only card or app.
  4. Safety - at night it is better to order a taxi through an app (Car:Go, Yandex Go) rather than hail a car on the street. The airport has a guarded taxi waiting area.
