## Types of Kindergartens
### Government (državni vrtići)
The cost usually ranges from 5 000 to 8 000 RSD per month (approximately 43-68 €). Applications are accepted in advance - most often in the period from February to April for a place starting in September. The teaching is conducted in Serbian, and the children's age is from 6 months to 6.5 years.
### Private (privatni vrtići)
Here the prices are significantly higher: from 20 000 to 60 000 RSD per month (≈ 170-510 €). There is almost no waiting list, and enrollment is possible at any time. Many groups operate in English, and the number of children per group is usually smaller (8-15 people versus 25-30 in government kindergartens).
