Church of St. The Church of the Apostles Peter and Paul was built between 1870 and 1899, and it was built with a bell tower. Like the Old Church, the New Church was built on the outskirts of the city, and today it is located in the very center. It was badly damaged in the Second World War when it was hit by a shell and bullets from a machine gun. It was restored in the mid-1950s, and the painting was done only at the beginning of the 21st century. century when the church was renovated. The church is in the shape of an even-sided cross and was built in Neo-Mavarian and Neo-Byzantine style. It has five domes, the central one of which rests on four large columns with Romanesque capitals. As for the facade, it is a combination of two-colored bands in plaster. The entire exterior of the church is made of stone ornamentation. The interior of the church is exceptionally well done - the iconostasis was made by Miloš Vlajković in wood carving from oak wood, and the icons were made by the painter Živko Jugović.
