The Museum of Naive and Marginal Art The Museum of Naive and Marginal Art in Jagodina is the only one of its kind in Serbia. In it you can see paintings, sculptures, graphics and drawings from the beginning of the 20th century until today, by artists from about 40 countries. The museum collects, systematizes, studies, exhibits and publishes works of naive and marginal art. The building in which the museum is located is a villa that was built in 1929 in the Art Nouveau style and is under the protection of the Republic Institute for the Protection of Cultural Monuments. The Museum itself was founded in 1960 as a Gallery of self-taught fine artists. In 1985, it changed its name to the Museum of Naive Art, and in 2007 to the Museum of Naive and Marginal Art. Since 2000 In 1998, the Museum began to publish electronic editions of monographs, anthologies, graphic maps and calendars, and the website was set up in 1998.
