### Private Health Insurance (DМС)
- Mandatory for obtaining a residence permit
- Cost ≈ 200-400 €/year (basic package)
- Covers outpatient treatment, hospitalization, emergency assistance

### Public Health Insurance (ОМС - zdravstvena knjižica)
- Available after obtaining a residence permit and registration with PIO (pension fund)
- Covers state clinics and hospitals
- Free - included in social contributions
- Issued at a branch of RFZO (Republički fond zdravstvenog osiguranja)

## How to Use

### Private Health Insurance (DМС)
1. Choose a clinic from the insurance company's partner list.
2. Call and schedule an appointment.
3. Arrive with your policy.
4. Treatment is free (sometimes with a small co-payment).

### Public Health Insurance (zdravstvena knjižica)
1. Choose a family doctor (izabrani lekar) at a polyclinic near your residence.
2. The doctor issues referrals to specialists.
3. Everything is free, but be prepared for queues.

## Private Clinics
