Apartment for daily rent in Serbia (stan na dan): how to rent and what to look out for

# Apartment for Daily Rent in Serbia (stan na dan)

**Stan na dan** is renting accommodation for a few nights without a long-term contract and without a deposit for months in advance. It's perfect when you have just moved and are looking for a permanent apartment, or when you plan a short trip to a resort.

## Where to Look

- **SerbiaHub** - the [Housing](https://serbiahub.com/housing) section → **Rent** tab → chip **"Posučno"**. Here you'll find listings from halooglasi, oglasi.rs and other local aggregators; prices are shown per night and already converted to Russian.
- **Booking.com** and **Airbnb** - the largest selection, especially in tourist areas (Zlatibor, Kopaonik, Vrnjačka Banja).
- **Local sites** - for example, stannadanbeograd.rs, mainly for Belgrade.

## Prices

In cities the typical rate is **€20-60 per night** for a studio or one-room apartment; luxuries and central districts cost more. In resorts during high season (winter in Kopaonik, summer in Zlatibor) prices jump, so it's better to book in advance.

## The Most Important Thing: "beli karton"

A foreigner must register his stay (**prijava boravišta**, colloquially "beli karton") within 24 hours after checking in. For daily rentals this registration is done by the **owner of the accommodation** through the eTurista system.

Before confirming the reservation, ask: "Do you do the beli karton?" If the owner refuses, you may face a fine for lack of registration when leaving the country. See the guide [Beli karton](https://serbiahub.com/article/beli_karton) for details.

## What Else to Watch For

- **Minimum stay** - some places rent from 2-3 nights.
- **What's included** - Wi-Fi, cleaning, linen, utilities (usually already in the nightly price).
- **Deposit** - often not required, and if it is, it's a small amount.
- **Photos and reviews** - compare the images with reality and read comments from previous guests.
- **Payment** - cash on arrival or card/online through the platform.

## Next Steps

Decided on a neighborhood? Move on to [long-term rent](https://serbiahub.com/housing) - a monthly lease is many times cheaper than daily rent.
