Appointment Booking
Slots appear on Mondays around 8:00 am and cover the following week. Occasionally individual slots appear during the week - act quickly, they disappear within minutes.
Lifehack: if the calendar does not display, switch using the Tab key and arrow keys.
Current Situation with Slots
Demand exceeds supply: about 10 slots are posted per week, while applications exceed 200. There are regular slots and more expensive VIP/Prime time slots, which are processed with priority.
Required Documents
Basic Package
- Completed application form (download from the German consulate website).
- Passport + copy (valid for at least 3 months after the trip).
- Photo 3.5×4.5 cm, biometric.
- Insurance minimum €30 000 for the whole period.
- Tickets or transport reservation (new requirement from March 2026).
- Proof of accommodation - hotel booking or invitation.
- Financial documents (see below).
New Requirements for Russian Citizens (from March 2026)
- Employment certificate from госуслуг - for everyone who moved to Serbia after 2022. No translation needed.
- If you have no access to госуслуг - submit a statement to that effect.
For Sole Proprietors (IP) in Serbia
- Extract from APR.
- Certificate of paid taxes.
- Extract from business account for 3 months (with bank stamp).
- Contracts with clients, invoices.
For Employees with a Labor Contract
- Work certificate in English.
- Certificate from CROSO.
- Extract from salary account for 3 months.
Financial Documents
Bank Statements
- Only official statements with bank stamp and signature (not prints from the online portal).
- For the last 3 months with real fund movements.
- Poštanska štedionica issues dinar statements immediately; foreign-currency statements are sent by mail only.
Accepted Banks
- All Serbian banks.
- Statements from foreign banks may be rejected.
Minimum Amounts
It is recommended to have at least €50-100 for each day of the trip.

- Sponsor's documents: work certificate, bank statements, copy of passport and residence permit.
