## When to Notify
After moving, you have **3 calendar days** to notify the MUP about your new address (Zakon o strancima, Article 110). The countdown starts from the date the rental agreement begins. A fine of **20,000-150,000 RSD** is prescribed for failure to notify (Article 123).
## Important about Deadlines
- You can change your address **only offline**, in the city you are moving to.
- If your first residence permit is still in process, change your address only after receiving your biometric card - otherwise, your new residence permit will have your old address.
- Your ID card is not changed when changing your address: the address is stored in the chip and updated automatically, and banks and government agencies read it themselves.
## Documents
- Passport and ID card (if you don't have a "nalepnica").
- Completed form (in Serbian Cyrillic, data from passport - in Latin).
- Documents for housing: rental agreement; copy of ID card/passport of the owner; document on ownership (a cadastral extract is suitable).
- Izjava of the owner about permission for registration (if the housing is not yours) - separate for each family member.
- Fee of 420 RSD (eUprava). If desired, you can immediately order a certificate about boravak (separate fee).
## After Changing Your Address
- A new "beli картон" is not required.
- Inform the bank about the new address of your account.
- If you have a business registered in this apartment, transfer the legal address/additional office (when moving to another city - mandatory, otherwise problems with extending your residence permit).
- If a vehicle is registered to you, within 15 days, issue a new **saobraćajna dozvola**.
> A residence permit for real estate implies real residence in your real estate; the inspector can check (Article 54).
